COOL BREEZE: The Cassette Comes Home

Back in the late 70s I played in a funk band in a small Florida town. We had the sound, we had the gigs, and we had exactly one cassette to show for it all. Then life moved on and the tape went quiet.

That cassette didn't stay lost. The songs came off it and got rebuilt from the ground up, and the first one standing is "By Way o' Breeze" - remastered 2026. Same groove, about forty more years of polish on it.

I took that single into the Base44 Vibe Sprint, a build-a-band challenge, and gave the band the full treatment: the story, the single, the photos, tour dates, even merch. Everything a band needs except the forty-year wait.
